Ever wanted to try Women’s AFL? Now is your chance!

Claremont Women’s Football Club are holding our annual Open Day on December 9th for all those who would like to come and get a taste for women’s football.

All are welcome to join our players, coaches and staff from all three CWFC teams to learn more about the game and enjoy some kicking and drills.

Where: Claremont Oval
When: Saturday 9th December, 10am – 12.30pm (BBQ around midday)
Who: CWFC has teams in both the Youth Girls Competition (Yr10-Yr12) and in the WAWFL (18+). Our oldest player is 40+ so age is no barrier!
What to Bring: Active wear, sneakers/football boots, hat, sunscreen, water bottles and a few $ for the BBQ

No commitment required, come on down and learn more about this fantastic game!

We will be running the morning like our regular training sessions, with a warm up, skills sessions, and ending the training with a short scratch match for those who have enjoyed the session and want to take things to the next level.

Following the scratch match we will take you all on a tour of our brand new club where we will finish with a BBQ lunch.

If you have kids and can’t find a sitter, bring them with you and we can keep them entertained while you play footy.

All skill levels will be catered for, so even if you have never played footy before we want to see you down here. For those wanting to continue on playing with us for the season, information will be provided about pre-season training on the day.
